I do not normally relish reality, I would much rather live in a world filled with dragons and elves and hobbits and dwarves and whatever other fantastical beings I can conjure. However, maybe just this once, I will let reality rule.
Finally, after tons of writes and rewrites, numerous explanations of why I needed to edit “just one more time” and more years than I like to admit to, my first fantasy novel, Awakening Powers, is almost at the finish line that is publication.
Today, I got the final concept for the book cover. Yay!
Soon, very soon, I will let my child fly and begin the process all over with its infant sister that will grow to be book two.
